Plus, our talented chef has planned a fabulous five-course menu to complement these magnificent wines: Hank, a knowledgeable, warm and friendly chap, will be here pouring his family wines. The 3rd generation of the Wetzel Family is now active in the winery and continues the family tradition at AVV. In 1975 the family built a small winery and Hank Wetzel, oldest son of Maggie and Harry, produced Alexander Valley Vineyards' first wine. In 1962, Maggie and Harry Wetzel purchased a large portion of a homestead built by Cyrus Alexander, the valley's nineteenth century namesake. Today the family run business is as successful as ever and producing award winning wines! Michael DeLoach, president and all around fun guy, will be here to show his wines. After selling their original flagship winery, the DeLoach family started Hook & Ladder on 375 acres situated in Sonoma County's Russian River Valley. The name DeLoach has long been associated with excellent California wines. 23 tickets are $95.00 per person plus tax and gratuity and we expect them to go fast so call now for yours!
